Rana Kahwagi
Rana Kahwagi is a senior associate in the arbitration and construction practices of Alem & Associates where she specializes in corporate, aviation, commercial and construction laws. She advises and represents both national and international clients in local, regional and international disputes under various governing laws and venues and subject to major international arbitration rules.

She offers clients assistance, representation and advice at all stages of the arbitration process. This includes pre-arbitral negotiations, the conduct of arbitral proceedings, advocacy at trial, and the challenge and enforcement of arbitral awards. She also appears before national courts to prosecute or defend applications for interim measures in support of arbitration, such as injunctions, attachments and orders preserving evidence. She also advises clients on construction projects and interferes at any stage of a project, be it structuring or bidding or dispute avoidance or resolution.

Rana holds an LLB from Saint Joseph University as well as a DEA de droit des affaires from the Université Paris II Pantheon-Assas. She has been a member of the Beirut Bar since 2005.
